Effect of Hydro-priming and Salinity Stress on Germination Indices of Niger (Guizotia abyssinica Cass.)

In order to evaluate the effect of hydropriming and Salinity stress on germination indices Niger, a factorial experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with four replications at seed research laboratory Shahrekord University. treatments were applied five levels (0, 25, 50, 100 150 mM NaCl). Hydropriming two (control 6-hour distilled water). Results showed that effects water salinity all studied traits significant P ≤ 0.01. However, interaction only for mean time, root shoot lengths, allometric coefficient. The hydro prime Niger resulted percentage, speed time be decreased significantly compared control treatment. 50% germination, energy increasing level. positively affected coefficient improved its value (non-hydropriming conditions).
